Clothes are bulky but light, which means the goal is maximizing space efficiency, not fragility protection — the right method saves real box count and unpacking time.
Hanging clothes
Transfer clothes straight from the closet rod into a wardrobe box — no folding, no re-hanging at the destination beyond lifting the bar back into a closet. For a full closet, this is usually faster and less wrinkle-prone than any folding method.
Folded and drawer clothing
