USmove.org is an independent research and planning resource for people moving across state lines — cost breakdowns, mover reviews, state and city guides, and the practical logistics that come up during an interstate move.
What we do
We research and publish information to help people plan an interstate move: what it typically costs by home size and distance, how the major national moving companies actually perform based on real customer reviews, what's specific to moving to or from each state and city, and the regulatory and practical details that affect an interstate move specifically.
Our standard
We don't fabricate data. Mover ratings and review counts are pulled from real Google Business Profiles, not invented or estimated — see our full methodology for exactly how. Where we can't verify something directly — a USDOT number, for example — we link to the official source (FMCSA SAFER) instead of stating an unverified figure as fact. Cost estimates are presented as ranges based on publicly understood pricing structures (weight, distance, and service level), not as guaranteed quotes.
How the site is supported
